I recruited participants by screening out with online surveys then interviewing relevant participants. Then came the research synthesis where I used Miro to display all interviewee notes using affinity diagrams.
I arranged the notes into common themes and opportunities, discovering features and using a feature prioritisation matrix to pick out 3 key features to take to the ideation stage.
This part of the process challenged my analytical side. Carefully selecting how best to structure the interview questions so that I get the best insights from my research.
I now have a greater understanding and respect for the role of a UX researcher. Based on my findings I now have the necessary data to move to the ideation stage of the process.
